UF IFAS Animal Science Buildings 459 and 499 AHU Replacement

Twelve chilled water AHUs serving offices, conference rooms, and laboratories were replaced in two animal research buildings. Two of the units (100% OA units) were sized for future expansion in the buildings. Associated ductwork and piping was replaced in the seven mechanical rooms where the units were located. New DDC controls were provided for each unit in lieu of previous pneumatic controls. Electrical and Fire Protection systems were modified as required to accommodate the new replacements.
